Silver Knitting Machines Limited was formed in 1990 to distribute Knitting Machines, Sewing Machines, Accessories and Parts to the trade.

Originally based in Mitcham, Surrey, the company moved to Bedford in 1999. However, due to continued expansion the company was forced to look for larger premises and in January 2001 moved to their new offices and warehouse in Rushden, Northants.

In 2000 Silver acquired all the stock from Forsells Yarns and now distribute throughout the UK and abroad.

Silver Knitting Machines Limited are distributors throughout the UK and Europe for Silver Reed Knitting Machines. The only major knitting machine manufacturer in the world today.

At Rushden we carry an extensive range of both Sewing and Knitting machines under the "Silver" brand, accessories, parts and yarn.
